Clumping grass tree
Xanthorrhoea media: (best guess, obtained as X. arborea seed) Native Victoria and South Australia. This one of the Australian grass trees or 'Blackboys". It has graceful foliage and is probably the easiest species to grow. They do not like root disturbance so you must plant them in the final spot when removing them from containers.

This spring we had more plants flower, one reaching in excess of 3 metres.
